Maria Eisl is an artist and designer who lives and works in London. Born in 1980 in Bad Ischl, Austria where she grew up, she went on to study at Central Saint Martins College in London, graduating in 2003. Then followed a MSc at Goldsmiths, where she studied new uses of technology for design and art. Her practice embraces all digital objects: image-making, illustration, animation, web sites, photography and textile prints, with a strong link to fashion.

Her images, animations and video works have appeared in magazines including Dilettante, Spektacle and online on FUR, SHOWstudio and DazedDigital, as well as in two recent books ‘Trends '09/10 - Forecasting with Central Saint Martins’ and ‘Digital Fashion Illustration’
